Mr. Finchley, 48 years old and doesn’t like technology and machines. He swears against them and tries to destroy them at every angle as he claims they are out to get him and he loses nights of sleep. Kicking the screen of a TV, battering phones into the ground. First he tells off his secretary, asks her to stay as he felt lonely then kicks her out again. Eventually a machine, technology, would be the undoing of this pathetic little man. He has no friends and craves company, when things are awful. But picks up the phone in the afternoon and sees he’s all alone and yes, in his mind and then reality his delusions become real and he’s died, by means of a machine.
