The Twilight Zone: Review: The Trouble With Templeton

I thought the Twilight Zone waas supposed to be scary. I guess some stories, some episodes, are just meant to be intriguing and mellow and at the very least, just plain leisurely and entertaining. This episode was a about an aged actor who gets transported back to his younger days when his wife was still alive and their close friend too. They all existed in some sort of a dream and they were laughing and talking but they were somewhat different. Eventually, I guess that’s all it was, just a dream.

Eventually that faded and Templeton returned to the real world and reclaimed his place on the theatre stage and commanded respect from his young boss. Amid Willy Wonka styled music was the heart and presence of an older man who yearned for the earlier years of his life, one his was taken back to for a moment because of The Twilight Zone.
