The Twilight Zone: Review: The Purple Testament

I remember this episode well. A soldier in the heat of war starts seeing death on his comrades faces and his superiors thinks he is crazy and jaded from the stress and anxiety of war. That it was getting to him and he was losing it. He eventually saw death on his commanding officer played by Dick York, the first Darrin on Bewitched. Then he saw death on his own self in a mirror and then minutes later, his jeep was hit in the midst of heavy fire, then an explosion and death for him and the driver. It was scary the first time and now watching again it’s not so bad. The first time spook died in a flatline and now I’m desensitized.
