I saw the beginning events before they happened but the ending was a curveball. I thought there was going to be a twist and it was a third parallel dimension and the man slips into it in the end but not such luck.
We see an astronaut slip through the doorway between dimensions and things were different. Picket fences and no President Kennedy. No one was the same, there were just minor differences and his daugter never recognized him. She said he wasn’t her dad. He was different, someone else.
He tried to explain to the woman he thought was his wife and that he was a major in the forces, not a colonel. These differences were confusing and it ended him in the psychiatrist office. Eventually he slipped back into his world afer returning to the ship he came into this world in.
Then he was home and his real daughter was there. He tried to explain it to his peers and after his doppleganger from the place he was in surfaced it became clear to everyone else. He was somewhere else and now he’s back, from The Twilight Zone.
