The Twilight Zone: Review: The Man in The Bottle

Another gloom and doom, all’s well that ends well story. Where is the tragedy that I’m accustomed to from the Twilight Zone? We see an elderly couple who are down on their luck, bills to pay, a shop that’s not worth it anymore but need the income to survive. It’s not pretty but an item came in the store that’s a bottle with a genie inside. They break it open by accident and the genie grants them four wishes. Each wish more perilous after the first.

Eventually the genie tricks them ad the husband becomes Hitler. They eventually wish the whole thing away. The genie gives them relief with the final one. It’s all over. it’s a detrimential game but they escape it and I hope they learn to keep their mouths shut and their heads screwed on tight. If it’s too good to be true, throw it away and run far and fast.
