The Twilight Zone: Review: The Lateness of the Hour

I saw the gist of the story coming from a mile away. An elderly couple who has amassed a significant portion of wealth built androids to serve them so they wouldn’t have to lift a finger for the rest of their lives to do anyting. Their creations would be their butlers and maids. They then built an android daughter but she wanted to escape the life of being couped up inside the house all those years. She didn’t know she was a machine either until she started telling her parents that she wanted to give them grandchildren and then they talked and she realized she wasn’t real either.

It was tragic but that’s how it unravelled. Eventually the robots were scarpped and she too. They turned her into a maid and gave her one of the old maid’s name but void of thought and personality. Sad and pathetic. Nothing moving or scary here folks, just another priceless 25 minutes of my life wasted.
