The Twilight Zone: Review: Printer’s Devil

I could see the makings of this story from early on when the man was about to commit suicide. Then Mr. Smith comes along and stops him because he wanted his soul. Very predictable but the ending was a curve ball.

I thought a man of God or an angel was going to come and save Doug’s soul but no and Jackie’s crash, I thought she was going to sustain great injuries. Then the man outwrites the devil and regains his soul and saves Jackie.

This was a story about defeating Satan and while I think it was boldly written, it was scary, even for the 1960s. But hey, he’s out of the picture. This was a great episode and a suspenseful one, like Jess Belle but not like Charlie. I was very entertained and I didn’t waste my fifty minutes. Very good.
