Dennis Hopper is an undeniable talent worthy of his stance as one of Hollywood’s finest actors. Robert Redford he is or was not but he is talented and great at his craft. But this performance was not his best role.
This episode of The Twilight Zone showcased him in the character of a racist and a bigot who worked for Adolf Hitler, the biggest scum in world history who wanted to kill and so Hopper’s character was, a killer.
This episode was nothing short of a histyory lesson come alive in the 1960s and it was boring. We see Hopper’s character kill someone who was near and dear to him.
Someone who helped him to overcome and because of that greed and hate overcame him to the point where he became a monster. It wasn’t scary, it told a tale, a boring tale about hate. This was not a show, just a boring story.
