This was a good first episode and for me a great introduction to the heroine, “Isis.” We see a slate of characters, firstly Andrea Thomas a young, beautiful scientist endowed with the power of a goddess and now is a guardian for a whole planet but mostly a small yet, productive town. She has the aid of several other series regulars and follows them secretly with dual identoities.
They play on the whole superhero thing, “Oh, why is Clark Kent never around when Superman is?” The hidden, suspicious identity mystery of every superhero and Andrea Thomas is no exception. I notice there are no origion stories with many of these old school shows. No intro to where Andrew got her powers or who she aspired to be, just an opening theme with a little info teaser.
We see two young men in this episode who play pranks on people to make them think they see UFOs and fool the town but Isis seees through it and stop an even more crooked salesman who wants to profit from people’s shortcomings. Isis, stops him and the teens and all calm return to the town. Okay, simple.
