So Susie the elephant is kidnapped and held for ransom. What despicable thieves, stealing a defenseless elephant whose aim is to please fans. Now they contacted Superman who eventually gets back the elephant much to the delight of a little boy but this version of Clark Kent is aggressive and mean. What gives? I hear George Reeves was in his late thirties to early forties in this role but he is no Superman. Maybe to that era but not kind and compassionate, even in Clark Kent mode. The Chris Reeve’s version had character and courage not bully his secretary like George Reeve’s version. Too bad they almost share the same last name.
