Only in 1952 you’d get away with little things or should I say big things in a series. Clark’s Superman costume he had in a hidden closet was stolen. Then the crooks tried to make money out of it. Clark reported that something is missing but he wouldn’t tell his detective friend what it was. The detective was right. How could he know what to look for if Clark wouldn’t tell him except that someone broke in and stole the suit? The suit was eventually gotten back but not knowing what to find was impossible.
