A couple of lowlives want to silence chief so he won’t spill the beans on their sinister operation, and it almost worked. It’s Superman to the rescue and not a moment so soon. The employees are feeling Perry’s pinch and tired of his grunts and pushings around. That guy needs to chill. The heat from the buildings on fire are pushing the lowlives to frame innocent people like Perry but if he told Clark or Superman when he suspected the guys Superman could have worked something out and figured out a better way to take them down instead of doing detective work after the meeting and getting caught. Perry, oh, Perry. Teamwork.
