This show is getting serious by the episode. The first season was mild and the second was like Saved By The Bell. It’s now a serious action/drama, almost worthy of a Smallville adaptation, predating 2001. We see Matt captured by a mega-company trying to get ride of hazardous chemicals illegally and then they captured Matt and tortured him. They knew about a so-called creature in their area but this was no creature. It was a mutated man formed from the company’s chemicals and turned into a freak.
He had to let his family think he was dead and one of the employees shot and killed him for real this time. No family, no wife, nothing. But Superboy knows the truth and the CEO is going to swamp hell as a creature, maybe the same guy or another like him, dragged him into the water and you can take it from here. Nice show, way too different from the other seasons. I have yet to see season four but I hope it is not as stern as three.
