Just finished watching the first episode of Superboy from 1988, and it was okay. Nothing special and it ran for half an hour. A scientist, Lana’s dad, took a cursed artifact from an expedition and almost died due to a curse. If not for Superboy’s intense speed and flight, he would be dead. But Lex Luthor and his goon nearly stopped it. He wanted to make money off artifacts and almost killed Superboy with the contents of a box, maybe Kryptonite.
Is Jimmy Olsen’s dad is editor of the Daily Planet in this show? Am I wrong? But Lana’s dad loved his job and the thrills more than he loved Lana and her mom. He wanted to make it up to Lana for all the failed promises, but now he has another chance. See you rotting in jail, Lex.
