Clark, Superboy, Andy and Lana end up on an island with an alien who tried to mate with Lana. The alien took away Superboy’s powers and nearly killed him and Andy and almost raped Lana. His wife died on him and he wanted desperately for a mate and chose Lana for her red hair. It was hell and Superboy in mortal form nearly got killed by a snake. Andy got out of a trap and saved Superboyand then they all took down the alien. They escaped with Suyperboy getting back his powers.
Superboy even almost bled to death. Then afterwards Clark surfaced with some shells like a true nerd. I don”t know why John Newton left the show. Maybe they all parted because his superboy wasn’t a deep nerd that they wanted and he wanted him to remain neutral. Either way, I like this Clark actor and character too. Lana got hotter since the season one finale and more of a damsel in distress.
