So, she’s not Maxima but she is this TV show’s version of Maxima, strong, headstrong and stubborn in all her might and glory. Neila is a warrior female from a distant planet void of really powerful men for women to marry and reproduce with. She’s obsessed with Superboy and wanting him to be her mate and companion as long as they both live.
Neila hurts people and was going to break Lana in two but Superboy came along to stop her. The newspaper head and Matt shrugged her off but Lana saw through her disguise eventually. I thought it was going to be a non-violent ending but she started to ignite the place until Lana showed her a lesson in morality and she vacated earth and fled to the stars. Great episode.
