They were either ghosts or about to die. I’m not sure but the elderly people on the ship had come to their time and now their stories are over. All I know is that this was a love story, a tale of two young people who were stubborn enough to take a cruise to another location and back, America to England and this couple went through their difficult times and reconciled. Their first honeymoon a bust at first but they managed to make up and love each other now more than ever and it took couples many years their seniors to realize it.
