The punchline is at the very end. A woman who has been disfigured and in a hospital wishes to come out of her eleventh and twelfth surgeries looking like everyone in society. This show is set either on an alien planet or in the fiuture or an alternate reality. She is disfigured and confuised and suicidal. Everyone is shunning her. The thing is, in this world ugly is the norm and she is good looking but abnormal and a freak. They pair her with a regular to us, human, normal man who is set to take her where everyone who looks like them dwell much to her ultimate delight. It’s paradise where they’re going. Weird but creepy and a nice plot twist. Everyone’s the freak. Lord, have mercy.
