I could see the ending to this episode from the mannequin started talking and came to life. Marsha White was a mannequin all the time. Marsha spent a month out of her section, her floor, of a department store and lost her memory. Then she took the mistaken identity of a human and roamed a store seeing peculiarities in the nineth floor, wanting a reefund or replamement or repairs for a gold thimble for her mother not knowing it was all a bad experience. The elevator man, the saleslady, everything was a repressed or lost memory. Now she’s back with her kind and her successor takes her place. Somewhat scary but it works for me.
