George Reeves must have thanked his lucky stars that this show got more seasons because this season three opening episode was total crap. We see the Daily Planet team go back in time to the age of cavemen and to get back home they needed a rare metal and get this, Superman had to go through space tp find it. A ganster was involved in all this and no one seriously asked how Superman got to be with them as if he was a time machine himself. A time machine in the 1950s? Sci-Fi was something special it seems at the time and in early stages. But they got back and no one was the wiser. Weird plot. Time travel?
